Online cooking
Online cooking is a continuous steaming process where soaked paddy is uniformly steamed using a PLC-controlled heating system. Each grain undergoes thermal treatment based on temperature and time, resulting in consistent gelatinization and desired grain color characteristics. After cooking, the paddy is sent for drying.
⚙️ Key Features
Overview
- Continuous Operation: Designed for uninterrupted processing, handling large volumes efficiently.
- Precise Control: Automated systems regulate temperature and steaming duration, ensuring consistent results.
- Energy Efficiency: Optimized steam usage reduces energy consumption compared to traditional methods.
- Uniform Cooking: Ensures even gelatinization across all grains, enhancing rice quality.
- Hygienic Design: Constructed with stainless steel to meet food safety standards and facilitate easy maintenance.
✅ Advantages
Online cooking
- Improved Rice Quality: Uniform cooking reduces grain breakage during milling, resulting in higher head rice yield.
- Enhanced Nutritional Value: Parboiling moves nutrients from the bran to the endosperm, making the rice more nutritious.
- Increased Shelf Life: The process strengthens the rice kernel, reducing susceptibility to pests and spoilage.
- Scalability: Suitable for both medium and large-scale rice milling operations, with capacities ranging from a few tons to hundreds of tons per day.
🏭 Integration into Rice Milling
Online cooking units can be retrofitted into existing parboiling and drying plants, enhancing their capabilities without significant infrastructure changes. This adaptability makes it an attractive option for modernizing rice processing facilities.
